Persist is a very sweet ability thats often looked down on because design teams avoid mixing mechanics that use +1/+1 and -1/-1 counters to minimize confusion, and mechanics that feature +1/+1 counters tend to be very popular

Every aspect of it from the mechanic to the name to the flavor text to the art just tickles my funny bone

It's a real sight to behold

While Imps Mischief is in some ways better, because it gives a Deflecting Swat effect to Black, its also nearly $30, and not worth it unless youre playing at the highest power levels in which case youre probably playing red and/or blue anyways, defeating the purpose

Sometimes this card whiffs, but most of the time it doesnt

Dont add all of your high-cost cards to the Inkwell, or you may not have strong cards to play later in the game
