A lot of the new cards in this deck bring plenty of support for the monarch theme: Denethor, Stone Seer, Archivist of Gondor, omer, King of Rohan, Champions of Minas Tirith, Forth Eorlingas!, Crown of Gondor, Fealty to the Realm, and Oath of Eorl all bring some much needed support for the archetype, and in varied and interesting ways
The mana base is a tightrope you must carefully walk when designing this deck, as Kird Ape has its own requirements, as do the handful of spells you might play that require double blue in the casting cost
Just keep in mind that the rules regarding copying spells and effects on the stack arent easy to grasp, and many a playgroup gets them wrong, even with practice
Do note though, that because I play an excessive amount of Lotus Field Combo decks, I am very high on this card
The fact that it has flash means that you will almost always be able to catch your opponents by surprise and draw at least 1 card, at which point it already feels like youve gotten your moneys worth
