Spending three to bounce a single creature is a hefty price, and with the printing of Otawara, Soaring City, we have that base covered
Likewise, if a spell or ability reduces the amount of mana it costs you to cast a spell with converge, you can't ignore that cost reduction in order to spend more colors of mana
Seven mana sounds like a lot to transform a card, but if you don't win the game after transforming this then things have gone horribly awry
