Look through your library and find two basic lands, reveal them, and put one onto the battlefield tapped and the other in your hand
This means that you can effectively shut off The One Ring by countering the Protection from everything ability, then preventing the opponent from putting burden counters on it to draw cards
This is by no means a practice I believe should be used in every set, but I think invigorating a tribe like mercenaries and allowing players to discover that Doomed Necromancer is itself one, can be a fun moment that rewards deck builders taking the time to look for hidden gems
